    Genesis 2 (February 20, 2012)

Post  KT on Sun Feb 05, 2012 11:30 pm

Chicago... the night the lights went out on the old, and shone brightly on the now... a night where hardcore took a whole new meaning...

    Ken War... Smiling Jack...

The two men swung bombs in the ring, turning this match into what could have been a sword duel, if the right equipment were used. Jack managed to gain an advantage, knocking the stick from War's hands, and landing a hard shot across War's chest. War went down, and Jack landed two more sickening shots.

War dumps thumbtacks on the mat. War tried a tack slam, but Jack low-blowed War to block, and followed up with a powerbomb onto the tacks!

War lifts Jack up, and slams him down with the Drop... but Jack reverses it into the Home Coming onto one of the barbed wire boards for the victory!

A night where tradition was pitted against the rise of the new breed... a night where new and old collided inside of the ring...

    Kirsta Lewis... Johnny Lee...

Lewis takes a wild swing early, and Lee sidesteps, and takes Lewis down with a Russian legsweep. Before Lewis even gets a chance to recover, Lee went to work on Lewis on the mat.

Lee allowed Lewis to stand before snapping off a textbook dropkick for a two count. The fans begin to cheer Lewis, and she fires up in the ring. Lee and Lewis followed with a rapid-fire sequence of nearfalls before taking the match to the outside. On the floor, Lewis missed with a chop and her hand smashed the ringpost.

Lee charges in... Lee eats a boot to the mouth before Lewis called for the end. Lewis wanted a double underhook, but Lee blocked. Lee shoves Lewis hard, and as Lewis stumbles back, she catches the referee and takes him down, and out! Lee caught Lewis with a brainbuster suplex and goes for the cover, but there's no referee.

Lee stands in the ring, surveying the situation, when, from out of nowhere, Dean Coldheart hits the ring, spins Lee around, and kicks him in the gut before dropping him in a stunner-type move! Now everyone's down! But wait... Dean pulls off his shirt, revealing a referee's shirt underneath! Dean kicks at the ref, shoving him out of the ring, then rolls Kirsta Lewis onto Johnny Lee, and makes probably the fastest three count the ECWA has ever seen!

A night where challenges were met... where expectations were put to the test, and limits were pushed beyond boudaries...

    Michael Vincent... Joshua Miller...

Miller sent Vincent into the ropes, and followed in with a shoulder block, followed by another and another. Miller goes across the ring and charges in, but Vincent gets a knee up, staggering Miller back. Vincent landed a running cross-body splash, but Miller rolled through and tried to secure a pin with a foot on the ropes, but Vincent kicked out.

Miller with two German Suplexes and Vincent countered a third attempt by slipping out and locking in a Crossface. Miller escaped, though, by getting to the bottom rope. Vincent backs up, Miller stands, Vincent spears and covers for a two count.

Miller quickly capitalized with a Fisherman Suplex with bridge pin, but Vincent kicked out before a two count. Miller tried again, but Vincent reversed, spun Miller around, and hit him with a double knee jaw breaker (a la Code Breaker), taking Miller down.

Miller is tired, and has troubles getting up, as Vincent stands, shaking out his shoulder and holding his back. Miller tried to charge in, but Vincent sidesteps. Miller comes off the ropes, and Vincent uses Miller's own momentum to take him up in a single-arm half-powerbomb, and make the cover in the ring. Miller is out cold, and Vincent takes the victory.

A night where all hell broke loose...

Dean backs right into TSW, then quickly spins, only to be met with one of the stiffest fists to the face you'll ever see. TSW unloads on Coldheart, taking him all the way back down the ramp toward the ring. Coldheart seems defenceless as TSW slams him from guard rail to guard rail, and punishes him with fists and boots.

Johnny Lee has stormed the ring, and gone after Joshua Miller. Vincent attempts to back off, but doesn't get far as a still-bloodied Ken War comes charging out to the ring, and immediately after Vincent.Of course, it doesn't take long for Dean Coldheart to come charging down to the ring, and after taking a cheap shot at War and Vincent, goes immediately after Johnny Lee. Out comes Kirsta Lewis, sliding under the ring, and going after the closest person to her... Ken War. Smiling Jack is out next, hitting the ring and going after both Kirsta Lewis and Johnny Lee, and taking a few shots at Ken War and Michael Vincent. The Scottish Warrior comes charging out next, and slides into the ring... immediately separating Vincent from the pack, and going after the World Champion. Doesn't last long, though, as Kirsta zeros in on TSW, and then Coldheart on TSW and Kirsta. Vincent starts fighting back, against anything near him that is moving, and by this time, Miller is back up, and is going after Vincent. Ken War and Smiling Jack are once again exchanging pleasantries, while Kirsta squares off with TSW and Coldheart is in it deep with Vincent. Its like a battle royal atmosphere, except this isn't official!

And a one of the most anticipated returns in recent history...

Kaydin Taneau is standing atop the ramp, arms crossed, glaring down toward the ring.

And now, Extreme Carnage Wrestling brings the chaos to Miami!”

Three talents on the brink of making a major breakthrough... now, in the most significant match of their career.

Images of Kirsta Lewis, Johnny Lee, and TSW come across the screen.

The Hellcat Kirsta Lewis... Mr. JL Johnny Lee... the Scottish Warrior... Triple Threat Single Fall Match for the #1 Contendership to the ECWA World Championship.”

Images fade off the screen, and are replaced by images of Ken War and Dean Coldheart.

The War Machine Ken War goes one on one against the Fox Dean Coldheart in a submissions match.”

Images change yet again, displaying Joshua Miller and Smiling Jack.

The Pure American Joshua Miller attempts to rebound against newcomer Smiling Jack in what will be an intense fight to the finish.”

An image of Michael Vincent takes the screen.

The Instant Icon Michael Vincent, the Extreme Carnage Wrestling World Champion, will bring a microphone to the ring, and address his peers and all those across the wrestling world in an uncut, uncensored presentation.”

A selection of blanked out images appear on the screen, with question marks over each one.

Extreme Wrestling has called out James Logan, Sheila Spires, Dante Michaels, Roman Pasmanwicz, and Rick Storm. Who will answer? Is there someone new waiting in the wings?

The image changes to Kaydin Taneau.

Kaydin Taneau made his presence known in Chicago. What will happen when ECWA rolls into Miami?

Again, we fade to the Genesis logo.

Monday, February 20, 2012... Extreme Carnage Wrestling brings the action of Genesis live to Miami. The question is... can all of this action fit inside of a 90 minute time frame? Don't miss a moment of the Extreme action..."

    The advertizement fades out.

So, the scoop in RPs and the deadline.

There's going to be 2 weeks until the event itself. All I ask for as a minimum is 2 RPs for those booked, and I have an expectation in regards to how they are posted. I do not personally feel it is too much to ask each competitor to post one per week. By doing so, you meet your 2 RP minimum and you are not pressured or under any stress to "get them up". I also feel that its fair for all of you, because no one is stuck "waiting" for their opponent to post an RP.

I also am asking for the one confirmed talent not booked to post at least one RP during this time. I personally do not care what the content is, but I feel there is a lot to work with for Michael Vincent (hints at your address, the #1 Contenders match, the victory over Joshua Miller, etc)

As well, there has been a call-out of some other talents. If they wish to post, then they are very welcome to. I do not, however, have an expectation of any of them posting (although I am looking forward to seeing who will have something for Genesis 2).

The deadline will be 11:30 PM Eastern Time (US) on Sunday, February 19. This gives everyone two full weekends to post their minimums. It also means that there will be very few "acceptable excuses" for not posting.

      Current date/time is Sat May 19, 2012 4:02 am
