    GENESIS DEBUT (1-2-12 CHICAGO)

Post  KT on Fri Feb 03, 2012 7:05 am

As the show comes to air, we are greeted with the ECWA logo, and Adam Hurst's Elegy.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7RJRsEAKDNs

Slowly, figures appear on the screen, each appearing in two or three “poses”, each lingering on the screen, their outline present as one fades into another. Amanda Williams. Chris Poshek. Autumn. Tanya Preston. Thomas Glitter. Phayd Turell Black. Lucifer. Michael Cook. Karnage. St. Andrew. August. Many more images of many more past superstars and personalities fade in and out, until, finally, after three minutes and thirty seven seconds, everything falls silent, and everything fades to black.

After a few moments, it hits...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WcWgFeIcIno&feature=related

As Evanescence's “New Way to Bleed” begins to play, a flurry of activity fills the screen. Ken War... Michael Vincent... Kirsta Lewis... Dean Coldheart... Joshua Miller... Johnny Lee... The Scottish Warrior... Smilin' Jack. For all those with previous experience3, shots of each individual training, mixed with clips of them in action, all leading to each one, individually, in a pose beside a gravestone reading “Extreme Carnage Wrestling Alliance”. For Smilin' Jack, clips of him training, and clips of him in his personal life, leading to him posing by the same gravestone.

At the three minute mark, the large GENESIS logo fills the screen, and then, after twenty seconds, fades out to the live audience here tonight in Chicago... and they are loud and proud here tonight! Fireworks go off as the new theme ends, and immediately, Motorhead's “Born to Raise Hell” hits. These fans erupt as Ken War makes his way out onto the stage, and toward the ring... and for the first time, we get a glimpse of what awaits him.

The ring is filled with all sorts of “hardcore” paraphernalia. Bats, trash cans, lead pipes... whatever you can name, its probably there. But the kicker? Each of the four corners, set up onside of the ring, leaning against the turnbuckles, large chunks of plywood covered in barbed wire!

As Ken enters the ring and asks for a microphone, these fans begins a very loud “We want hardcore!” chant. Ken smiles, giving the fans a moment before he brings the microphone to his lips.

“You know, as I look around this ring, as I see everything laid out in front of me, I cannot help but wonder if this really is the end of the dream.”

    The fans begin to boo.

“See, I made my name here in this ring, under these circumstances. I poured pint after pint of blood into this ring, against some of the greats. But those days, those days... men like Psycho, like Sean Bishop, like Karnage, Phayd Turell Black, Kharn, Roman. Hell, those were the days, when men showed earned their paychecks through every drop of blood, every drop of sweat, every tear they shed in these monstrous confines. Legendary wars, against legendary men.”

The fans grow silent, allowing Ken to finish speaking his mind.

“But as I look into that locker room now, I realize that the desire, the need to copme out here and bleed... well, those sitting in the locker room now, they aren't of the same breed as the legends I mentioned before. Those sitting in the back, they are more technically inclined, they are more about the skill, about the fast paced action. And you know, that's fine.”

Ken pauses for a moment, staring right toward the backstage area.

“But you know, it would be a shame if this all ended like this. Hey, I understand... being ultra-violent is an art, and there aren't many of us artists left in the world. But there has to be at least one person in the back who isn't afraid to send this bitch straight back to hell!”

Ken seems to be getting fired up.

“As the last true icon of ultra-violence would say... as Kazriel Bailey would say... LET'S PUT THIS TO BED WITH A BANG!

Ken doesn't have to wait long for an answer. Lordi's “Blood Red Sandman” blares, and ECWA newcomer Smilin' Jack makes his way from the backstage area... and immediately to the ring. He's got some sort of sick smile on his face, and he stares down Ken War as a referee comes running from the backstage area.

Once the referee hits the ring, the bell is rung, and the ref steps aside and lets these two loose on one another!

The two men felt each other out with a few lock-ups, and an exchange of a few heavy fists. Neither man could gain an advantage on the other as this match drew out its first two minutes. War finally had enough of the duel and went for a weapon. The first thing he saw and picked up? A kendo stick. Smiling Jack, of course, countered with... a Kendo stick! The two men swung bombs in the ring, turning this match into what could have been a sword duel, if the right equipment were used. Jack managed to gain an advantage, knocking the stick from War's hands, and landing a hard shot across War's chest. War went down, and Jack landed two more sickening shorts. At the 5:19 mark, War rolled to the outside of the ring, and Jack stood in the ring, taunting him with the kendo stick.

Now War had really had enough. War goes under the ring to retrieve... Norma! Jack sees the razor-bladed lead pipe, then bailed from the ring and said he was leaving. Jack walked to the back, so War followed him to the back. Suddenly, Jack re-emerged and War “love-tapped” him back down the entrance ramp toward the ring. The crowd erupts at the re-emergence.

At 9:00 in to the match, War started bleeding after brushing up against some barbed wire positioned ringside. War shook it off, nailed Jack in the head with the stiffed chair shot we've probably ever seen, and rolled Jack back into the ring. War went back under the ring, found a few cloth bags, and tossed them into the ring. War re-enters the ring, and Jack is up, charging right in. War delivers a hard Kendo shot right to Jack's groinal area, doubling Jack over.

War then grabbed a bag, and proceeded to dump thumbtacks on the mat. War tried a tack slam, but Jack low-blowed War to block, and followed up with a powerbomb onto the tacks! Jack then introduced a table into the ring. War "turned the tables" on Jack, though, with a chokeslam through the table that scored a nearfall as we pass the 13:44 mark.

War went back to the outside, and proceeded to toss two barbed wire boards into the ring. Jack used the break to catch his breath, though, and as War re-enters and goes for Jack, Jack is ready, smoking Ken War in the head with a trash can lid, and then slamming War into one of the boards, drawing gasps from the crowd!

At 16:09, Jack made a cover with War still tangled on the barbed wire board, but War rolled a shoulder to escape the pin. Jack made a sandwich with the other board, then came off the second rope with a splash onto the barbed wire sandwich. There was dead silence from the fans, with War seeming out cold, and Jack rolling in pain from a combination of landing the move and slicing open the back of his left leg from some of the loose barbed wire.

Jack rolls, peels the top board off, and makes a cover attempt at 17:11, but War kicked out again. Jack retreats as War slowly tried to peel himself off the barbed wire, and as War slowly gets to his feel, Jack charges in... but War blocks and sideslams Jack into the thumbtacks! War falls on top of Jack, who is in pain, and makes the cover as we near the 19:30 mark, but Jack kicked out of the pin, surprising the crowd.

War picks Jack up, and tries to whip him to the corner, but somehow Jack reverses, and War goes crashing hard into the turnbuckles. Jack recovered enough and began blasting away on War with Kendo stick shots in the corner. Jack had War out in the corner, and charged in... War moved, though, and as Jack connects, War drives his head into the buckle with a stiff kick! War then lifts Jack up, and slams him down with the Drop... but Jack reverses it into the Home Coming onto one of the barbed wire boards! At the 25:17 mark, Jack and War are down on the board, and it was good for a Smilin Jack win!

WINNER: Smilin Jack at 25:17. Ken War could go 20 years without doing this style of match and still make it look easy. Congratulations to Smilin Jack, however, who in his debut went toe to toe and stole this one away. If this really is the last ultra-violent match seen in the ECWA, then these two men took it out in style.

The camera quickly zooms in on the carnage inside the ring, before cutting to highlights and lowlights of the match we just saw. Between the match and the highlight replay, the first 27 minutes of the show is over. We focus in on Smilin Jack, outside the ring, holding his ribs, and Ken, inside the ring, in obvious pain. Both men are covered in blood, and bleeding heavy.

We take our first commercial break of the night after 29:49 of “show time”.

    Commercials.

We come back from commercials, and are once again shown highlights of the match we just saw. The highlight replay this time takes about forty-nine seconds. Then, we go to a clip of “during the break”, where we see Kirsta Lewis arriving backstage, and making her way to her locker room. We also see Johnny Lee arriving, and making his way to his locker room. The two pass in the locker room, and nod, respectfully. Kirsta asks Johnny if he's got a match tonight, and Johnny replies no. Johnny asks Kirsta, she gives the same reply. Kirsta asks Johnny if he wants a match, Johnny replies that he didn't come tonight to sit around with his thumb up his ass. Kirsta then says she'd be happy to oblige... “Meet me in the ring in about 5 minutes?” Johnny Lee responds “Deal.”

We come live, where these fans are anxious to keep things going. As we hit the 37:14 mark, the lights dim, and Godsmack's “Enemy” begins to play. These fans give Johnny Lee a warm reception as he walks from the backstage area, and makes his way down to the ring. He seems to be happy to be here, but the look on his face shows his intensity heading into this match.

As Johnny enters the ring and waits, Halestorm's “I Get Off” hits, and these fans rise to their feet for the ECWA return of Kirsta Lewis. She walks from the backstage area and waves to the fans, before making her way down to the ring. As she enters the ring, she stares down Johnny Lee, and smiles... well, smirks actually.

The referee steps between the two of them, forcing them back into opposite corners, and calls for the bell.

Lee and Lewis started with basic exchanges to feel each other out. Lewis takes a wild swing early, and Lee sidesteps, and takes Lewis down with a Russian legsweep. Before Lewis even gets a chance to recover, Lee went to work on Lewis on the mat. Lee applied a reverse chinlock, but Lewis held on, and made it to the bottom rope for the break. Lee then stomped on Lewis' back, and the ref got between them, pushing Lee back.

Lee allowed Lewis to stand before snapping off a textbook dropkick for a two count at the 5:05 mark. The fans begin to cheer Lewis, and she fires up in the ring. Lee and Lewis followed with a rapid-fire sequence of nearfalls before taking the match to the outside. On the floor, Lewis missed with a chop and her hand smashed the ringpost. Lee regained control and landed a flying dive on the outside that sent Lewis into the guardrail. There was concern from the fans on behalf of Kirsta Lewis.

Back in the ring at 8:20, Lee scored with a neckbreaker to continue the offensive assault. Lee went top-rope move, but Lewis recovered instantly and crotched him. Lewis then went up top, but Lee crotched her to return the favor. They set up a frightening top-rope move that saw Lewis counter a powerbomb with a mid-air hurracanrana. The fans stood, and began a “Holy Shit!” chant as we pass the 10:00 mark.

At 11:01, Lee stopped Lewis's momentum with a belly-to-belly suplex for a two count, but Lewis elbowed out. Lewis inexplicably tried to send Lee into the ropes, and Lee reversedto deliver a belly-to-belly suplex for a two count at 13:14.

Lee tried to follow with a moonsault, but missed and his head bounced hard off the mat. Lewis rolls over him as we reach 14:01, and gains a two count. Lewis pulls Lee up, and Lee explodes, unloading on Lewis before sending her into the corner. Lee charges in... Lee eats a boot to the mouth before Lewis called for the end. Lewis wanted a double underhook, but Lee blocked. Lee shoves Lewis hard, and as Lewis stumbles back, she catches the referee and takes him down, and out! Lee caught Lewis with a brainbuster suplex and goes for the cover, but there's no referee.

Lee stands in the ring, surveying the situation, when, from out of nowhere, Dean Coldheart hits the ring, spins Lee around, and kicks him in the gut before dropping him in a stunner-type move! Now everyone's down! But wait... Dean pulls off his shirt, revealing a referee's shirt underneath! Dean kicks at the ref, shoving him out of the ring, then rolls Kirsta Lewis onto Johnny Lee, and makes probably the fastest three count the ECWA has ever seen. At 19:19, the “referee” Dean Coldheart declares Kirsta Lewis the victor.

WINNER: Kirsta Lewis at 19:19 (per "referee" Dean Coldheart). Kirsta came back after a lengthy absence and agreed to take on a much younger and possibly more agile talent, and managed to go the distance. Congratulations to Johnny Lee, however, for keeping pace in this match, and for showing that he will not just be a pushover. Based on how this match went, and what was put into this match, the future is very bright for both competitors.

We immediately go to a highlight package, showing the action between these two, and the entire Dean Coldheart involvement, then cut back live, where Johnny and Kirsta are both just starting to come too. Dean is backing away, tapping his head and shouting something about “making an impact on Genesis”, when suddenly, these fans come to life.

And with good reason. Dean Coldheart doesn't realize that the Scottish Warrior, ECWA icon, has come out behind him. Dean backs right into TSW, then quickly spins, only to be met with one of the stiffest fists to the face you'll ever see. TSW unloads on Coldheart, taking him all the way back down the ramp toward the ring. Coldheart seems defenceless as TSW slams him from guard rail to guard rail, and punishes him with fists and boots. Finally, security comes out, and as the fans boo, security breaks up Dean Coldheart and the Scottish Warrior. Finally we cut to our second commercial break, at the 1:03:13 mark.

    Commercials.

We come back from commercials, with close to 23 minutes left in scheduled time here tonight... and one hell of a Main Event on tap! The fans here in Chicago have been waiting for this one all night, and you can tell they are on the edge of their seats. But they will have to wait at least a few more moments, as David Bowie's “I'm Afraid of Americans” begins, and Joshua Miller makes his way from the backstage area. The fans shower him in boos and jeers as he makes his way down the ramp, toward the ring. He smirks, though, knowing he's about to get a shot at the ECWA World Champion, Michael Vincent... something none of these fans have ever been able to do. Miller steps into the ring, and ignores these fans.

Then the lights die, and the crowd begins to get louder. As Motorhead's “King of Kings” begins, these fans lose it. Before Michael even walks out, the fans have become so loud that the announcers cannot be heard from inside of the ring, or the broadcast at home. When Michael Vincent finally walks out onto the ramp, the Madhouse on Madison literally becomes a madhouse. Michael plays to the fans for a moment, before charging the ring. Michael teases posing, but instead tosses his title to the referee and asks for the bell. The referee obliges, and the bell is rung.

Once the bell sounded, Vincent immediately landed a clean blow to the face of Miller, and Miller ducked to the outside for a breather. Vincent rolls outside to catch Miller, who seemed to be walking away, but Miller catches him with a boot to the gut, and Miller makes his way back to the ring. Miller then caught Vincent coming back into the ring to gain control of the match. Miller sent Vincent into the ropes, and followed in with a shoulder block, followed by another and another. Miller goes across the ring and charges in, but Vincent gets a knee up, staggering Miller back. Vincent landed a running cross-body splash, but Miller rolled through and tried to secure a pin with a foot on the ropes just 5:06 in, but Vincent kicked out. Miller followed with a swinging spinebuster for a clean two count.

Miller brings Vincent up to his feet, Vincent snaps off a couple big hits reeling Miller back. Vincent for a clothesline, Miller ducks and takes Vincent down with a belly-to-belly, but Vincent kicked out instantly, popping the crowd. Miller followed with two German Suplexes and Vincent countered a third attempt by slipping out and locking in a Crossface. Miller escaped, though, by getting to the bottom rope. Vincent backs up, Miller stands, Vincent spears and covers for a two count at 8:14.

Vincent re-applied a Crossface center ring. Miller fought out, though, and as Vincent reaches down to pick him up, Miller with the schoolboy roll up and a pin, despite Vincent's hand being under the bottom rope and Miller using the ropes for leverage. The referee did not even count. Miller seems to have a second win as we approach the 12:00 mark.

Miller picked up Vincent and tossed him hard through the middle rope, causing Vincent to eat the floor. Miller paced the ring as Vincent struggled to re-enter. Miller quickly capitalized with a Fisherman Suplex with bridge pin, but Vincent kicked out before a two count. Miller tried again, but Vincent reversed, spun Miller around, and hit him with a double knee jaw breaker (a la Code Breaker), taking Miller down.

At 15:30, Vincent came back. He picks up Miller, whipped him into the ropes, and takes him back down with a back body drop. Miller then avoided a springboard flip splash, but Vincent came back with another Crossface. Miller rolls through, though, and applies a wicked and painful looking version of a armbar-crab, but Vincent breaks it almost immediately. Miller is tired, and has troubles getting up, as Vincent stands, shaking out his shoulder and holding his back. Miller tried to charge in, but Vincent sidesteps. Miller comes off the ropes, and Vincent uses Miller's own momentum to take him up in a single-arm half-powerbomb, and make the cover in the ring. Miller is out cold, and at the 23:11 mark, Vincent takes the victory.

WINNER: Michael Vincent at 23:11. Vincent once again displayed why he is the World Champion, but Joshua Miller did not back away. Both of these men were off to a fantastic start, but Joshua just couldn't finish, and it cost him the match against the World Champion. If Joshua had been able to finish, the outcome could have been very different.

After the match, and into “overtime” with our broadcast, a few highlights are shown, before we go back to ringside. And we go back, because Johnny Lee has stormed the ring, and gone after Joshua Miller. Vincent attempts to back off, but doesn't get far as a still-bloodied Ken War comes charging out to the ring, and immediately after Vincent.

Of course, it doesn't take long for Dean Coldheart to come charging down to the ring, and after taking a cheap shot at War and Vincent, goes immediately after Johnny Lee. Out comes Kirsta Lewis, sliding under the ring, and going after the closest person to her... Ken War. Smiling Jack is out next, hitting the ring and going after both Kirsta Lewis and Johnny Lee, and taking a few shots at Ken War and Michael Vincent.

The Scottish Warrior comes charging out next, and slides into the ring... immediately separating Vincent from the pack, and going after the World Champion. Doesn't last long, though, as Kirsta zeros in on TSW, and then Coldheart on TSW and Kirsta.

Vincent starts fighting back, against anything near him that is moving, and by this time, Miller is back up, and is going after Vincent. Ken War and Smiling Jack are once again exchanging pleasantries, while Kirsta squares off with TSW and Coldheart is in it deep with Vincent. Its like a battle royal atmosphere, except this isn't official!

The fans are chanting “This is awesome!” as the action continues inside of the ring and out, but begin to boo heavily as a flood of security enters the ring and begins to break things up. The talents in the ring are still struggling, with security having full control, when the lights die again.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eMdqWaFwJYY&feature=related

Evanescence's “End of the Dream” hits, and it seems to stun not only the fans, not only the security or the broadcasters or the announcer, but all eight talents in or at ringside. The video is blurred, purposely, so its hard to tell what is being shown, if its action or what, or even who it is. At the 51 second mark, legs beside the same gravestone as the official introduction. The camera pans up the legs, taking in the body... and just before the face is shown, the lights come on, and Kaydin Taneau is standing atop the ramp, arms crossed, glaring down toward the ring.

The show goes off the air with that lasting image, officially 11:09 over its scheduled time.
